Screen Sharing via Zoom

This guide provides a step-by-step workflow for effectively sharing your screen during a Zoom meeting, ensuring that you can present content seamlessly. It covers essential actions like selecting the right screen, sharing documents, and managing audio settings, making it ideal for anyone looking to enhance their virtual presentations. Locate the "Share" button and click to open the share settings.

You can select to share your entire screen (Desktop)

Or choose to share specific applications

The "Presenter layout" area allows you to select how the content is shared, and how your video or profile picture is shown over the content, side by side, or as a background. The next image will shown this set "As background" with my profile picture visible in front of my shared screen.

If you are sharing a video clip, it is best to also select the "Share sound" option.

You can also access a meeting Whiteboard by clicking on the "Documents" tab

The "Advanced" tab has additional items for you to choose from to share to the meeting.

Click "Share" once you've selected what you want to share, as well as how your icon will appear in the meeting.

If you are the meeting host, you can control who else is able to share content during the meeting.

You can select to limit sharing to one or multiple participants at a time, as well as who else is able to share.
