Self Registration for RETURNING Registrants Training Guide

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for RETURNING REGISTRANT to self-register for the new season. A RETURNING REGISTRANT is someone who has been registered with Swimming Canada in a previous season. This guide applies to Registrants that were registered in REMS last season or that were previously registered in the RTR. 28/08/2026

Select the path that applies to you: 1. **Returning Registrant** (previously registered with Swimming Canada): follow the steps below. 2. **Returning Registrant — RTR account but new to REMS:** follow the steps below. 1. Register using Self Registration Link

To complete self-registration, navigate to the **link sent by your club or PSO** for the new season. This will take you to the registration portal for the club you are registering with. ⚠️If you haven’t received a link, contact your club or PSO.

**Select the membership category** you are registering for. Follow the instructions provided by your club or PSO to ensure you choose the correct option. Click **"Register"**

If you know the email address for your REMS member account and your password, enter them and click **"Log in".** Proceed to [2. Use the **Forgot Password** steps below if: 1. You were registered in REMS last season but have forgotten your password, or 2. You have never been registered in REMS but were previously registered in the RTR and are registering in REMS for the first time.

1.1. Forgot Password

Click **"Forgot password?"**

**Enter the email address** associated with your REMS member account or your previous Swimming Canada account in the RTR. If you can't remember the email that you used in previous seasons, please contact your club. Click **"Submit"**

If the email address you entered matches one in REMS, a **password reset link will be sent** to that email address. If you receive a notification to activate your account, go to [1.2. ⚠️If the email address you entered doesn’t match a REMS account, verify the address and try again, or **contact your club for assistance.**

Go to your email and **click the link** to reset your password.

Enter the new password and click **"Submit".**

If you are creating an account in REMS for the first time or if your REMS account was not previously activated, you may be prompted to activate your account.

1.2. How To Activate Account

If you receive a message that your account has not been activated, Click the **"Resend Activation Email"** link to activate your REMS account.

You will receive the following message. Navigate to your email to **find the link** to activate your account.

Click **"Activate Account"** from your email.

Enter and confirm **your password, your First and Last Name, and your language preference.** **Click the check box** to Accept Terms and Conditions and Click **"Activate"**

If you have reset your password or activated your account, you will need to enter the registration link again and log in using your username and new password.

1.3. Re-enter Registration Link

**Select the membership category** you are registering for. Follow the instructions provided by your club or PSO to ensure you choose the correct option. Click **"Register"**

Enter your email address and new password. Click **"Log in"**

Once you have navigated to the self registration link and logged in to your REMS account you can **proceed with the self registration process.**

2. Complete Self Registration

Click **"Register/Renew".**

Click **"Add/Renew".**

Make sure that the **current season** is selected and that **Qty 1** is selected for the category that you are registering in. Click **"Continue"**

Click **"Please Select..."**

Select the **existing member** that you are registering for the season.

Click **"Continue"**

**Update the Personal Data** section of the Registration.

**Read and click to accept** the declarations and consents required by Swimming Canada and your PSO.

Click **"Register"**

You will receive a **"Registration Complete"** message.

3. View Member Card

Click **"Home"** from the menu in the top left corner to return to the main member screen and your member card.

Here you can view your member status. Click the **"Member Details"** button to review your member information. If you have registered into an account type that requires approval, your registrant status will be "Awaiting Approval". If you are an official or coach, you can click the Login to LMS button to access the LMS (if you are an official, you can only access the LMS if your status is **Active**).

4. Login to your Registrant Account

**To log in to your registrant account**, navigate to <https://swimming.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/users/login>

Enter your email address and password. Click **"Login".**

Click the **"Member Details"** button to review your member information.

View your Member Details and ensure they are up to date. If you to make any updates, scroll down and click **"Submit"** to save the updates.

1. Register using Self Registration Link

If you are creating an account in REMS for the first time or if your REMS account was not previously activated, you may be prompted to activate your account.

1.2. How To Activate Account

If you receive a message that your account has not been activated, Click the **"Resend Activation Email"** link to activate your REMS account.

Once you have navigated to the self registration link and logged in to your REMS account you can **proceed with the self registration process.**

2. Complete Self Registration

Click **"Register/Renew".**

Click **"Add/Renew".**

Make sure that the **current season** is selected and that **Qty 1** is selected for the category that you are registering in. Click **"Continue"**

Click **"Please Select..."**

Select the **existing member** that you are registering for the season.

Click **"Continue"**

**Update the Personal Data** section of the Registration.

**Read and click to accept** the declarations and consents required by Swimming Canada and your PSO.

Click **"Register"**

You will receive a **"Registration Complete"** message.

3. View Member Card

Click **"Home"** from the menu in the top left corner to return to the main member screen and your member card.

4. Login to your Registrant Account

**To log in to your registrant account**, navigate to <https://swimming.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/users/login>

Enter your email address and password. Click **"Login".**

Click the **"Member Details"** button to review your member information.

View your Member Details and ensure they are up to date. If you to make any updates, scroll down and click **"Submit"** to save the updates.
