This section outlines the steps for selling an Annual Policy with an Extension, ensuring both policies align with the trip start date. It explains how to select coverage options and view premium breakdowns, helping agents streamline the sales process and provide comprehensive, efficient service.

This process can only be used when the trip requiring an **extension** and the **Annual Policy** both **begin on the same day**. If the member’s trip **begins after** the Annual Policy effective date, first complete the **Annual Policy purchase**, then follow the **Selling Additional Days (Extension) for an Annual Policy.**

Complete the initial stages just as you would when **selling a policy** (Individual, Annual, or Top-Up). After entering the **Annual trip criteria**, the system will automatically display the **Multi-Trip** and **Multi-Trip + Extension** coverage options.

Select the **number of days** to be covered under the **Annual Policy**.\ \ The system will automatically adjust the coverage to include the **remaining days** under the **Extension**.

The **total premium** and **breakdown** for each policy — the **Annual Policy** and the **Extension (additional days)** — can be viewed by selecting the corresponding **drop-down arrow**.

After selecting the desired coverage, complete the remaining sections of the application by following the steps outlined in the **Selling a Policy (Individual, Annual, Top-Up)** tutorial. Once the payment stage is completed, **two policies** will be generated for the member — one for the **Annual Policy** and one for the **Extension Policy**.
