Sending Quotes for Acceptance, Viewing Replies and Booking in

In this tutorial you will see how to send a quote, mark it as accepted, see how it will alert in Squeegee and how to convert this to a job to book the customer in.

Once you have created a quote, you can send it by clicking into it and then selecting the pink three dots > 'Send Quote'.

It will then pop up with the template which you can edit by clicking into the text and start typing.

You will then be able to preview the quote to see what the customer will see when they receive it.

You can then send directly from that page or schedule the quote as shown on step 3.\ The status of the quote will then update to 'Sent'.

And you can view this message by going to the customer messages tab.

Going back to the quote, you can also preview the entire quote by clicking the pink three dots > 'Preview Quote'. You will see that the customer has 'Accept' or 'Decline' buttons - this feature will only appear for quotes sent from ***Advanced*** and up subscriptions.

What the Customer Can See

They can then click into 'View Quote' to see the breakdown of services and prices.

These buttons are only available if the quote is sent from ***Advanced*** and up plans.

This is where they can 'Accept' or 'Decline' the quote using the buttons as mentioned on step 6.

They will then receive a message popup that has been configured in Settings > Quotes > 'Accepted Message' - you can edit this to suit your preferences.

Viewing Alert & Booking In

Back in the app, you will receive an alert to notify you that someone has accepted the quote and it is ready to be converted to a job.

You can then click 'View Quote' so you can convert it to a job.

If the 'Accept'/'Decline' buttons are not available, then you can manually mark it as accepted or declined by clicking into the pink three dots again.\ You will then need to confirm your choice.

Finally, you can convert the quote to a job by clicking the pink three dots > 'Convert To Job'. And then confirm this again.

Now you will just need to check the job details to make sure you are happy, then click 'Save'.

You will also be given the option to send a booking confirmation if this isn't an automatic setting you have turned on (more information about this on steps 16-17).

Quote Settings

Go into 'Settings' then click into 'Quotes'.

You will be able to turn on settings such as 'Automatically Convert Accepted Quotes' or 'Automatic Conversions Send Confirmation'.
