Set Up AI Narrative Preferences in WiseTime

This section details the process for customizing your AI Narrative Preference in WiseTime, allowing users to tailor their experience to fit specific needs. By adjusting narrative length, tense, language, and providing custom instructions, users can enhance the relevance and effectiveness of the auto generated narrative in your Timesheets.

Navigate to <https://wisetime.com/timeline/ai-narrative-preferences>

Tip! You can also click on 'Profile' in the sidebar and navigate to AI Narrative Preferences section in your profile. Alternatively, hover on Auto Narrative and click Preferences to go to AI Narrative Preferences.

You can choose to alter the length of the Narrative by selecting Short, Standard or Long.

You can choose if the Narrative should be in Past or Present tense.

You can choose the Language you would like the Narrative to be in from the drop down.

Click "Advanced" drop down

Type in your own instructions to the AI here. Use generic instruction that applies to every narrative, not a specific task or tag field

Input your specific instructions and the Narrative Preview will automatically update to match what you have noted based off the Sample Timeline Rows data on the right-hand side.

The Sample Timeline Rows are a mix of demo rows and your own personal Timeline rows to give you an idea of the types of narratives that can be generated.

Click the refresh icon if you'd like the Narrative to be generated again.

Once your setup is complete, click "Save"
