Setting Up Instant Notifications

In VU Collaborate, you can get instant notifications for key updates like announcements, assessments, and quizzes.

Log in to [VU Collaborate](https://vucollaborate.vu.edu.au/d2l/home), then from the Minibar, select your **Username**, then **Notifications**.

Notifications go to your VU email, or you can switch to a personal one under **Change your email settings**.

In the pop-up window, select **Use custom email**, and enter your preferred email address.

Scroll down to Instant Notifications and tick the items you want to receive updates for. We recommend selecting **at least Assessment, Grade, News, and Quiz**.

When complete, select **Save**.

Congratulations, you now know how to select your instant notifications to receive updates on the items that matter the most to you.
