This guide provides a straightforward approach to setting up VisitorIQ within Nutshell, ensuring you can effectively track and filter website visitors for targeted marketing. By following these instructions, users can enhance their marketing strategies and optimize their outreach efforts.

Nutshell

Wherever you are in the Nutshell App, you can find **VisitorIQ** by clicking on *Marketing* in the main navigation.

Once in the Marketing navigation, click on *Website* and..

***VisitorIQ*** to open.

*Note:* You will need to install **Nutshell Analytics** on your site in order for **VisitorIQ** to work.

Fortunately, all you have to do is copy and paste a snippet of code onto your website.

And then ensure that you want **Nutshell Analytics** to be enabled on your website. *That's it!*

Once you've set up **Nutshell Analytics**, you can update your **VisitorIQ** settings and filters.

Updating your **VisitorIQ** settings will control what you see in your **VisitorIQ** dashboard from the Companies and People who visit your website.

First, uncheck any Industries that are *not* relevant to your business. If you don't serve or sell to customers in these industries, you can filter them out of your **VisitorIQ** dashboard.

Second, you can filter out by *Management Level*. If you only communicate or sell to a certain seniority level(s), you can filter out all the others.

Third, if you only work with a certain department at companies, you can filter down by department or *Job* *field*. For instance, we at Nutshell mostly target Sales and Marketing professionals.

Lastly, you can choose to filter out any People/Companies that don't have your desired way of contacting them. Do you rely solely on phone sales? If so, make sure to check '*Must have a phone number*'. This will filter out any results where we were unable to match a phone number to the person visiting your site.

That's it. You may have to wait up to 24 hours for initial data to come in. After that, the amount of records you see depends on your website traffic and filter settings.
