In this tutorial, account administrators will learn how to manage family and child assessment preferences.

Click "Setup"

In the Setup section, scroll to the list of Preferences in the left navigation. Click "Assessments"

The top preferences section allows you to turn on "Conducted by Other". If your program has other individuals or agencies conduct assessments for your families and children, then turn this feature on.

Click the "+" button to add a new person or agency.

Type the new person or agency's name. Click "Create"

Open the "Conducted by Other" section to review and manage your list.

Next. Child Developmental Assessments can be turned on or off. If your agency conducts these assessments, then check the box to open up the list of assessments. Review the list and select the assessments your program conducts.

Next. The family assessment section. First, choose whether you want to have Reminders enabled. If checked, each assessment will allow you to add a reminder for the assessment's Next Due Date. Check out our Reminder tutorials for more information about this feature.

There are a lot of Assessments in Visit Tracker. Use the Search field to quickly find the assessment you are looking for.

Here we searched for the Bracken. Check the box to have the assessment show in the selection list when any user in the account is adding a new assessment.

Let's search for another assessment

Type "PHQ-9". The PHQ-9 is already turned on. But let's update the Next Due Date setting.

Instead of having the Next Due Date default to 12 months from the date of the record conducted, let's have it set to 9 months. Setting Next Due Date defaults along with the Reminders is a great way to ensure the home visitors are aware of the next time this assessment needs to be completed for a family.

Click "Update"

You can change the Show entries to a larger number in order to see the entire list of assessments offered.
