Customize Shower Styles

Learn how to use, create and customize shower styles. Shower styles are pre-configured sets of hardware fittings (like handles, hinges, and clamps) that you can apply to a shower as a group. Instead of adding each fitting individually, you can select a style with a single click and let Glazier Pro add all the required hardware for you.

Using Shower Styles in the Designer

- Begin a new shower as usual: choose a layout template and enter your measurements. - Open the **"Shower Hardware Style"** dropdown from the **Details** tab (on the **Design** screen) - Search or scroll through the list, click on a style name to select it.

- The shower style will apply in the default color (as set on the shower style). - Use the "**Finish"** field to change the hardware color if required. - *Note: The color options in this field are controlled by the shower style.*

If needed, you can now make manual changes via the **"Hardware"** tab, i.e.: - Edit hardware quantities - Change individual colors - Add/remove specific fittings

Shower Styles Screen Overview

To view, edit or create shower styles, click on the **Menu Icon** > **"Shower Styles"**.

**Default Shower Styles** The default shower styles can't be edited, however you can toggle the **"Active"** button OFF if you don't want them available for selection in the Shower Designer. To modify one of the default shower styles, click the **"Clone"** button to make an editable copy (see [Clone an Existing Style](https://scribehow.com/viewer/Shower_Styles__4VUYndVvRsij9vMsKwZNIg?scrollToActionId=ee3937f0)).

This screen has two key areas: ***1) STYLE DETAILS*** - **Name** & **Description**: Give each style a clear Shower Style Name and optional Description. - **Active Toggle:** Controls whether each style is active (across all sites). - **In Use toggle:** Controls whether each style is available for selection in the shower designer in *this site*. - **Style Colors:** Add multiple color options to make available in the designer. Right-click on a color to set it as the default, or select it from the dropdown.

***2) FITTINGS LIST*** - Left side: All available fittings. - Right side: Fittings currently included in the style. **Actions for the Fitting List:** - **Filter by fitting type:** Use the "**Display Fittings of Type"** field to filter the fittings lists by hardware type (i.e. Handles). - **Add fittings:** Double-click an item from the list on the left (**"Available Fittings"**), or drag and drop it into the **"Style Fittings"** list. - **Remove fittings:** Double-click an item from the list on the right (**"Style Fittings"**), or drag and drop it into the **"Available Fittings"** list. - **Change order:** Drag and drop the items in the **"Style Fittings"** list to move them up or down.

***Note: The fitting order is important!*** *When multiple fittings can be used (for example, two types of walls clamps), the one higher on the list will be chosen first.*

Create a new Shower Style

- Click **"New"** - Enter a "**Name"** for the style, and an optional **"Description"**.

- Add fittings (re-order if required) and colors. - **Right-click** on a color to select it as the default, or select it from the "**Default Color"** dropdown.

**Color compatibility:** If any of the style fittings aren't available in one of the selected style colors, you'll see an orange warning note and warning triangles next to affected fittings. *Hover your cursor over the warning triangle* next to a fitting to see details of which colors aren't available. *Right-click* on unavailable colors to remove them, or click **"Auto-Resolve Colors"** to let the software automatically replace the style colors with common color options that are available for all Style fittings.

Click **"Save"**. The new style will be ready to use in the Shower Designer.

Clone an existing Shower Style

Select a style and click **"Clone"**.

Give it a new **"Name''** and make adjustments to fittings - ideal when creating variations (e.g., a heavy-duty version with stronger clamps).

Add/remove colors if required. **Right-click** on a color to select it as the default, or select it from the "**Default Color"** dropdown.

Click **"Save"**. The new style will be ready to use in the Shower Designer.
