Sign a Document (Participant)

This guide will show you how to sign a document in a Videosign meeting room. In order to sign a document, you need to be in control. If you are not in control, ask the meeting host to give control to you. A signature can be added manually to a document by the signee, or a 'signature tag' can be signed.

Videosign

Enter the meeting room.

Open the left-hand menu and click on "To be signed".

Click on the document.

Click on "Sign document".

Add Manual Signature

Click "Signature".

Select a signing method. "Draw your signature" - You can draw your signature directly onto the screen using a mouse, trackpad or your finger (touch-screen devices). "Type your name" - This will be a typed signature in a handwriting font. "Upload your signature" - Upload a pre-captured image of your signature.

"Draw your signature" method: Using a mouse, trackpad or your finger (touch-screen devices), draw your signature. The recording will automatically start when you sign.

Click the checkbox to show your agreement.

Click "Add signature".

To resize the signature, click and drag on the corners of the signature.

Move the signature into the correct place on the document by dragging and dropping.

Click the green tick symbol.

Click "Save changes".

Don't forget to save your signature!

The signature will be saved on the document.

Signing a Signature Tag

If a signature tag has been assigned to you by the meeting host, it will look like this.

Click on "Sign Tag".

"Type your name" method: Using the keyboard, type your full name. The recording will automatically start when you sign.

Click the checkbox to show your agreement.

Click "Add signature".

Click "Save changes".
