Sign a Document

This step-by-step guide will show you how to sign a document in the Videosign meeting room. A signature can be added manually to a document by the signee, or a 'signature tag' can be signed.

Videosign

Enter the meeting room and open the left-hand menu.

Click "To Sign".

Click on the Document.

Add Manual Signature

Click "Manage Document".

Click "Signature".

Select a signing method. "Draw" - You can draw your signature directly onto the screen using a mouse, trackpad or your finger (touch-screen devices).\ \ "Image" - Upload a pre-captured image of your signature. "Type" - This will be a typed signature in a handwriting font.

"Draw" method: Using a mouse, trackpad or your finger (touch-screen devices), draw your signature. The recording will automatically start when you sign.

Click the checkbox to show your agreement.

Click "Add".

To resize the signature, click and drag on the corners of the signature.

Move the signature into the correct place on the document by dragging and dropping.

Click "Save Changes".

The signature will be saved on the document.

Signature tags will look like this once they've been added. The "Click to Sign" button is authorised only for the participant to whom the tag belongs, and can only be signed by that individual.

Click on the tag assigned with your name.

"Type" method: Using the keyboard, type your full name. The recording will automatically start when you sign.

Click the checkbox to show your agreement.

Click "Add".

Click "Save Changes".
