The latest Operating System for the SMART Board is being released and will have several different ways to unlock a user depending how they have signed in.

If You Signed In Using the SMART Sign-in Icon

If you have signed in using the preferred method with the SMART login icon and did not sign out at the end of your session...

You will stay logged in and the board will eventually go to sleep and lock. You will see a screen similar to the one below when you return (after waking up your board).

If *you* were previously signed in, use the center lock. Swipe up, put in your pin, and you will be right back into your account.

If *someone else* was signed in or you do not know the pin, tap the "Back to public profile" button. This will log off whoever is logged in so you can sign-in again using your preferred method.

Manual Lock

We recommend you use the manual lock in the bottom left corner of the home screen when you leave the room.

To unlock your RX board after a manual lock, you either enter the pin you created when you come back or you click on the sign out button.

Public User

If you (or someone who used the board) did not sign in using the SMART Sign-in button, but instead, signed into the public browser account...

Then when your board goes to sleep, it will look similar to the one below.

Use the center lock at the bottom if it is your account and you know the pin. Swipe up, put in your pin, and you will be right back into your account.

If it is not your login or you do not know the pin, use the "Lock Screen Clean Up." This will reset the public profile, deleting all data and settings. Files saved to Public Files (including Whiteboard files) will remain. Confirm the clean up by tapping "Clean Up" again.
