IMPORTANT NOTE: These steps will need to be followed for EACH new SMART Board you may be using.

Locate the "Sign in" icon and tap

Next, choose your preferred Sign-in option: (1) Tap the blue "SMART Account Sign in" button, (2) Scan the QR code, or (3) Enter the web address into a computer or mobile device to begin the sign-in process

Tap Google to login. Use your RCS district credentials (username@rcs-k12.us) to sign in and create your SMART account.

If a pop-up window appears, tap "Continue" to finish the Authentication process. If you do not see the Continue screen, that's ok. You will then see the home screen for a few seconds before the new screen will appear to set up your SMART account profile.

On the "Set up new user" screen, tap "Continue."

Once you tap continue, the system will briefly run through a loading process before loading the next screen.

Sign in and set up your Google account. This will also allow you to use all of the district-approved Google Apps, including pulling up your Google Drive and your lesson content. Type in your district email address and password, then tap "Accept."

On the next screen, tap "More" to scroll through Google services settings and terms of use. On the final screen, tap "Accept."

Pin Setup: Please read carefully before proceeding! You will need to set a PIN before you can use any Google apps or services. If you login to multiple boards, we recommend that you use the same PIN on all boards. Enter your PIN twice to set.

Optional: The next screens are optional for set-up at this time and can be set-up later from the Settings Menu (Settings > Google). You can enable Google Voice, Google Assistant, and change how the text displays on the board. To bypass these screens, tap "Skip." To set up these functions, tap "I agree" and follow the setup steps.

Note: If a triangle with an exclamation mark icon appears in the top left corner of the board (this is dependent on your Admin settings), swipe down from the top of the board to open the notification center. Tap on the notification "Account Action Required." Follow the steps to clear the notification.
