Please use the following step-by-step guide to register your students. For more information, please view the SLSC Registration Guide: https://www.skillsusaillinois.org/slsc/2026 We highly encourage you to have your registrants with you for their registration. Dietary Accommodations, Parent/Guardian information, T-Shirt size, Cell Phone, ADA Accommodations, etc. is required to complete registration.

Navigate to [https://www.skillsusa-register.org/Login.aspx](https://www.skillsusa-register.org/Login.aspx)

Contestant Registration (Students)

Click "**My Registrations**"

Select the "**SkillsUSA Illinois: SLSC 2026**" option.

Click "**Add Registration**"

Ensure Registration Type is "**Contestant**". Click the dropdown for "**Select Member to Compete**" or start with their **First letter** to narrow down the search.

**Select the student you want to register.** Please note that students cannot compete if they are not PAID members. Please ensure membership dues are paid prior to SLSC.

Select the competition your student will compete in by using the "**Contest**" dropdown.

For Team Competitions, adjust the "**Team Code**". Each team should have a unique Team letter.

If your student is competing in ONE competition, you can select "**Save & Continue**"

If your student is competing in MULTIPLE competitions, you can select "**Add Another Contest**" **Please note:** Competitors may participate in up to two competitions within the standard registration fee. Each additional competition beyond two will incur a $20 fee per contest. Advisors and competitors are strongly encouraged to review the tentative schedules in the [Yapp App](https://www.yapp.us/preview/yapps/c850c1e5-d5e4-4666-a1a4-aae4556ba7a0/pages/4308d3eb-ad43-408e-a76b-fa312363bcc4) prior to registering for multiple competitions. Some participants choose to assume the risk of potential scheduling conflicts; however, if a student registers for competitions that conflict, SkillsUSA Illinois will not issue refunds.

You can see that the first competition you registered them for is below. Now add any additional competitions.

Once you have added all competitions, select "**Save & Continue**"

You will need detailed student information to complete the next steps. We recommend you have the student with you.

Complete "**Parents' / Guardians' Names**" and "**Parents' / Guardians' Phone**"

Complete "**Home Phone**"

Complete "**Cell Phone**"

Complete the "**Gender**" dropdown.

Select T-Shirt Size

Fill out "**Name of Teacher/Adult accompanying participant**" and "**(Cell) Phone Number of teacher / adult chaperone**"

Complete any "**ADA / Education / Dietary Accommodations**" We cannot guarantee accommodations if not completed by the registration deadline (March 18, 2026).

If the student is interested in a State Officer position, please check "**Officer Candidate**"

Check "**Delegate**" for any delegates to represent your school. Please read through the Chapter Voting Delegate Information within the SLSC Registration Guide for more information on the number of delegates and the Delegate Session.

If your student has more than one competition, click "**Preferred Contest**"

If your student has more than one competition, type their preferred name under "**Preferred Contest**"

Read through the Advisor Acceptance, select "**I agree**"

Click "**Save Registration**"

Click "**Add Registration**"

Select the "**Advisor**", "**Observer**", or "**Freshman Observer**" option.

Select the person you would like to register.

Select "**Save & Continue**" once you have selected the person you want to register.

Complete all required information.

Click the "I Agree:" field.

Select "**Save Registration**"

Submit Registration

Once you have registered all members (Contestants, Advisors, Freshman Observers, Observers): 1. Review all registrations. Ensure that the competitions are correct for each competitor. (Name spelling, t-shirt size, dietary restrictions, birthdate, etc.) 2. Make any necessary edits 3. Once you have no edits, click "**Submit Registration**". Due March 18, 2026.

Submission Successful Landing Page. Select "**Return**" to print the Conference Registration, Personal and Liability Release Form. Please note that you must collect the Conference Registration, Personal and Liability Release Form. You will not turn those in, but you should have them with you.

The SkillsUSA Conference Registration, Personal, and Liability Form, linked below, outlines the information that will need to be submitted during the registration process, as well as the releases agreed to. As an advisor, when you approve a registrant, you are agreeing that you have signed the student and parent/guardian approval to sign off on releases and agreements on the back of the form. These forms will NOT need to be submitted to or collected by SkillsUSA Illinois. Click "Print"

**Invoices** Invoices will be sent following the close of registration. All payments must be received by the start date of the conference. Payment must be made by school or bank check made out to SkillsUSA Illinois, Inc. Cash and personal checks are not acceptable. All checks should be mailed to: SkillsUSA Illinois, Inc.\ P.O.
