Split Test Segment Prep

To send a 50/50 split, gather up your recipients and use Earnware's "export to list" tool to create two equal halves so you can send two campaigns, one to each of the two 50/50 halves. Follow the steps below to learn how to create the 50/50 splits. Reach out to Earnware support directly if you need assistance support(at)earnware.com

Earnware

Go to Contacts > Lists > Create New.

Name your new list "Split A" - add a date in the name for the day you'll use the split.

Go to Contacts > Segments. Create a new segment.

Name the segment "Split B" (add the date of your split)

Set the segment to match ALL of the following filter groups... Click "+ Add Filter"

Filter > Choose Existing Segment

Find your sending segment(s). Select one and click OK.

Repeat the step until you've added all your desired segments within a filter group

Once you have all your desired segments chosen, your screen should look something like this... All > Any > Segments... Save it.

Go to Segments. Export half of Split B to your Split A list.

Export > New or Existing List

Quick math...

Go back to Segments: Find Split B... Add a Filter Group. Exclude list Split A from segment Split B to create 2 equal halves. Save.

Schedule one campaign to each Split you made.
