Step-by-Step Guide: Adding Product with Specific Attributes and Tags

Navigate to [https://admin.shopify.com/store/wcr-inc/products?selectedView=all](https://admin.shopify.com/store/wcr-inc/products?selectedView=all)

Click "Add product"

Edit the Title field, Type in " [[CapsLock]] PRODUCT NAME"

Edit the Description, if this comes from Neil or Allie, please spell and grammar check.

Edit the "Price" field, this will be provided or a cost will be provide and you the price will be 1.5 x the cost

Edit the "Cost per item" field, this will either be supplied or you will need to find the invoice for costing

Uncheck "Track quantity" unless otherwise stated

The "SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)" field will be the same as the internal number in Odoo, the barcode is the SKU with no spaces

Add the "Shipping weight"

Be sure to add the part number to the Asana task and a link to the product once the product is active

Enter the Country of Origin

If known add the state/province

Enter the "HS (Harmonized System) code" field.

Click "870850 - Parts and accessories of the motor vehicles of headings 87.01 to 87.05.; Drive-axles with differential, whether or not provided with ot..."

Click "Search engine listing"

Click "Edit"

Edit the "Meta description" field. This shows up on Google so make sure it is a short clear description of the product

Edit the "URL handle" field to be a concise product name match

Edit the "Product category" field match it as closely as you can to the product itself

Edit the "Product type" field.

Select the "Product type" from a list of already listed items

Enter the "Vendor" field if known

Select the correct "Collection" from the drop down, this is where it will show up in the menu on the live site

Click "Tires & Wheels"

Click the "Tags" field.

Click "$1200 for a set of 4"

The "Tags" field is where you enter keywords to help make this searchable on our site and google. The more tags you can enter the more chances a person has of finding it
