Step 1: How to Register Your Organization in Temelio

Follow this guide to register your organization’s account in Temelio, our grantmaking portal, and complete the first step of our application process. *Please note for your planning that approval is not instant, and a decision is typically emailed within a week. Eligibility Review

Go to [https://bit.ly/sftemelio](https://app.trytemelio.com/eligibility/f5ac0d80-b344-4c06-95e7-18895c0b7af5) and answer the eligibility questions.

If both requirements apply, click "Continue to Application".

Account Registration + Team Management

Click "Sign in to start form".

If you do not already have a Temelio account, click "Sign Up". Otherwise sign in with your existing credentials.

If you are creating an account, click and update each field marked with an asterisk \*.

Click "Create Account" when complete.

Enter verification PIN received via email.

Organization Profile Setup

When prompted, select "Organization" and click "Next".

Note that individuals are ***not*** eligible for Steelcase Foundation grants.

Click the "Entity Name" field to provide your organization's legal (IRS) name.

Update the "DBA Name" field if applicable.

Click the "EIN" field to provide your organization's number. If using a fiscal sponsor, leave the field blank. You will be prompted later to add fiscal sponsor information.

\[Optional\] If your organization has an EIN and a Candid Profile, click "Populate From Candid Profile" to pre-fill information about your organization later in the form.

Click "Next".

If you cannot see the Next button, you might need to resize your browser screen in the settings.

Verify your primary role with Temelio.

\[Optional\] You may want to invite additional staff to join your team profile. This might include those who will collaborate on the grant application and signatories. To do so, click “Add Team Member.” Temelio will send a separate email prompting them to activate their accounts. You can complete this step now or return to it later.

We recommend inviting your organization's leader as a signatory if this is not you.

Click "Next" when you are finished adding team members.

If you are not automatically sent to the screen below, direct your browser to <https://bit.ly/sforgpro>. When prompted, click "Start New Form.".

Complete all fields and click "Submit Response" when complete.

If you are ready, click "Confirm". Once selected, you will not be able to edit your submission. *\*Please note for your planning that approval is not instant, and a decision is typically emailed within a week.*
