Step 2: How to Submit an Initial Inquiry

After you set up a Temelio profile for your organization and/or a user account for yourself, follow this guide to submit an Initial Inquiry. *Please note that a reply should be expected within three weeks of submission. Access the Temelio User Guide here: https://bit.ly/sfuserguide

Navigate to <https://bit.ly/sfloi> or if you have received an invitation via email, use the link provided to log into your Temelio account.

Click "Start New Form".

Review previously entered Organization Profile information and update as applicable. Click "Next" when ready.

Select the grant type from the dropdown menu. For more details visit our webpage at <https://www.steelcasefoundation.org/strategic-partnership-to-meet-community-needs/>

Select the best description for proposed activities.

Update the "Proposal Title" field.

Review Steelcase Foundation focus areas and select which are best aligned to your request.

Provide a brief overview of the proposed activities as requested.

Update the "Number of participants anticipated to be served in each year of the grant\*" field.

Open the dropdown to select the focus audience for proposed activities.

If applicable, describe any formal collaborations with other organizations.

If applicable, describe any specific neighborhoods or school districts of focus for proposed activities.

Select the intended duration for the grant request.

Update the "Request Start Date" and "Request End Date" fields.

Update the respective "Requested Amount" fields as applicable.

Update the "Total Request Amount" field, which should equal the fields above.

Provide the estimated annual cost for proposed activities (should exceed what is being requested from the Steelcase Foundation) and the organization's current annual operating budget.

If needed, you have an opportunity to include additional documents or context for the proposal before you submit. Click "Submit Response" when complete.

If you are ready, click "Confirm". Once selected, you will not be able to edit your submission. Please note that a reply should be expected within three weeks.
