Step 6: Complete Prework

After submitting your application, complete required prework for each course you applied to. Click the name of the course in the "Complete Prework" to do tile on the My Application page of the Application dashboard to access prework instructions.

The sooner you complete prework, the more likely you are to be admitted into a course.

Review the prework instructions carefully and complete each step thoughtfully.

When you’ve completed the assignment, return to the Application Portal and click the Submit Prework link below the course name. Note that the Technical Interview Prep prework assignment will be completed and submitted via HackerRank; you will not see a Submit Prework link.

You may be prompted to sign in with GitHub before you can submit your prework. Make sure to use the same GitHub account you used to submit your application.

Upload your prework using the required fields, paying close attention to any file requirements, and then click "Submit."

Once the CodePath team has received your prework, you'll receive an email confirming acceptance or requesting revisions. You can also view your prework status from the My Application screen of the Application Portal.
