Storing Grades for Q3

Start by reviewing the dates of each Grading Period.

When storing grades, you want to be aware of the end date for each term to know what dates to use for the storing grades process.

Scroll down to review the term dates for various store codes.
Next step will navigate to the Storing Grades Page.

Click "Store Grades"

Type "Q3" in the box for Use this Final Grade/Reporting Term

Enter "Q3" in the Save with this Historical Store Code.

Consider whether to exclude enrollment records when a student has recently enrolled. (In some cases, students recently enrolled may not have a grade to be stored.)

If excluding a student recently enrolled, enter an appropriate date. (Ex. a week before the final date of the store term.)

Consider whether to exclude student enrollment records when the student has recently dropped the course. (In some cases, one might consider not including grades for a student that has dropped the course two or more weeks before the term end date.)

Enter an appropriate date if excluding a student who has dropped the course.
The first box here will store grades for courses in the full year term.

Always select "Store with No Credit" except when storing with the "F1" store code.
The next box will store grades for courses in shorter terms like Semesters or Quarters.

Always select "Store with No Credit" except when storing with the "F1" store code.

When storing grades, always store grades for classes enrolled in "All schools".

Always store grades using "This School" name.

South Carolina does not use the option for withholding credit. Leave this area blank.

Keep the option to store both Awarded and Attempted credit. Do not change options for variable credit or rounding.

Click "Submit"
Alert! After storing grades always review the newly stored grades on the student's Historical Grades page.
