Student View: Turnitin Similarity Report, Comments, and Your Grade

Open the Turnitin Assignment

Open the graded assignment to review comments, a grade, and the similarity report (with potential plagiarism issues). If your instructor has enabled resubmissions, you can review comments or the similarity report, fix issues and then resubmit the paper.

Clicking on the assignment will open your previously submitted paper in the "Feedback Studio." Click on comments in the text to review your instructor's comments.

Click the "Instructor Feedback" button in the right sidebar to find overall comments provided by your instructor and if available, the rubric results from your instructor.

Click on the "Match Overview" button to open the Similarity Report and review matches between your writing and other sources found on the internet, in journals or books, etc.

Matches will appear highlighted the same color as the selected text in your draft

To use the Similarity Report to improve your writing, you can open your draft in another window and scroll through this report to then make changes or you can download a copy of your draft with the comments and similarity report and use it to make edits to your writing.
