Google Calendar
Subscribe to the School Calendar
Important: You can only subscribe to a calendar on the web. These instructions are for a computer browser window. Once you have subscribed to the calendar, you will be able to sync to your phone or tablet (instructions included below).

Open your google calendar in a browser window, or navigate to <https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/r>

On the right hand side bar, under "Other Calendars" click on the the "+" icon.

Click "Subscribe to calendar"

In the "Add calendar" field, enter the following email address: [pioneers@potomacschoolmontana.us](mailto:pioneers@potomacschoolmontana.us)

You can edit how the name of the calendar appears in your account, you may find something like "Potomac Elementary School" to be more descriptive than the email address. *(**Note**: for the remainder of these instructions, the name of the Calendar will show as "Potomac Elementary School")*

If you wish to receive email notifications of new or changed events, you can adjust your settings if scroll down to the the "Notifications" section.

Once the settings are adjusted to your preferences, you can return to the main calendar view by clicking the left arrow in the top left.

Under "Other Calendars," the box next to the "Potomac Elementary School" should be checked, and the events should now appear in your calendar window. *(**NOTE**: To show/hide the school calendar events, simply check/uncheck the box as desired. Instructions on how to unsubscribe are also included below.)*
Sync to your Android Device

Once you have subscribed to the school calendar, you can select which calendars you want to appear your Android Calendar app. \--> Additional instructions can be found[ by clicking here, ](https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37100?hl=en&sjid=880999301707624502-NC&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&oco=1)and scrolling down to "Show or hide a calendar you're subscribed to."
Sync to your iPhone, iPad, or iCal Account
If you have not already synced your Google Calendar with the Calendar app that comes on your iPhone or iPad, you can find instructions on how to do so here: - [**Add Google Calendar events to Apple Calendar**](https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/99358?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DiOS)
Once you have set up your Apple device(s), you will need to select which Google Calendars you wish to sync with your Apple Device(s). *(**NOTE**: This step is required every time you subscribe to a new Google calendar.)*

Navigate to <https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/syncselect>

Check the box next to the calendar name you wish to sync, such as the "Potomac Elementary School (Read Only)" field.

Click save (lower right corner).

After a few minutes, the new calendar should appear in your iPhone/iPad/iCal app.
How to Unsubscribe
Navigate to [your Google Calendar ](https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/r/week)in a browser window.

If you no longer want to see Potomac School events, you can either "uncheck" the box in your Google Calendar page, or... *(**NOTE**: This will hide the events with out unsubscribing you, allowing you to turn them on/off at will)*

If you want to permanently unsubscribe from the calendar, click the "snowman" (three vertical dots) next to the school calendar.

Open the "Settings" page

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, and click "Unsubscribe"
