Summit K12 alternate login method - student iPads

Try this if the student has difficulty logging in or problems with the Speaking questions not working correctly!

To save the Summit login information to the iPad keychain, follow the steps below:

Tap Settings.

Type "passwords" in the search box on the top left.

Tap on the key that says Passwords.

Tap password options.

Be sure autofill passwords is on and tap Keychain (you want it to have a blue check).

Now open the Summit app:

**Open the Summit K12 iPad app you installed from Self Service** *(**NOT** the one inside Class Link).*

- For the username, type the student's complete email address ending in **@[g.risd.org](http://g.risd.org) (Using all caps is helpful to avoid autocorrect.)** - For the password, type ONLY the student's ID number in the format **123456**

**\*\*It helps to *TURN ON ALL CAPS* when typing the login info since otherwise, autocorrect will change "risd" to other things.**\*\*

Tap the red sign-in button, and ***choose YES*** to have it SAVE the login and password to the "keychain."

Logging in this way tends to fix any "issues" when using Summit via Class Link!
