Designate New Supervising Broker (Terminating Broker)

Navigate to [https://aca-prod.accela.com/KANSAS](https://aca-nonprod.accela.com/KANSAS-NONPROD2/AngularUI/CommunityView/login-panel?inLegacyUI=true), enter your login credentials then click "Sign In"

Click "My Records" at the top then select "UPDATE RECORD" next to the company or branch office you're changing the broker for.

Select "Company Supervising Broker Change" *(or Branch Office Supervising Broker Change if you're updating a branch)* then click "Continue"

Terminating Broker details populate automatically. Click "Look Up" to search for new supervising broker.

Enter the new brokers license number in the STATE LICENSE NUMBER field. If you don't know the new broker license number, you may search using their first and last name. Once you enter the search criteria, click LOOK UP. If only one matching record is found, system will automatically populate the brokers information in the New Supervising Broker Section. *Note: If your search produces multiple results, they will display in a list. Click radio button next to correct licensee then click Continue.*

Confirm new broker has been added. Click "Continue".

Review the details of your request. Scroll down and read the Terminating Broker certification. Check certification box then click CONTINUE.

Your request has been submitted. Review submission confirmation message. A notification will be sent to the new broker for approval. ***You are still responsible broker for this office until you receive notification from KREC that the request is complete.***

Navigate to [https://aca-prod.accela.com/KANSAS](https://aca-nonprod.accela.com/KANSAS-NONPROD2/Default.aspx), enter your login credentials then click "Sign In".

Click "RESUME APPLICATION" next to the Broker Approval Change Broker record.
Tip! *Any request pending your approval or incomplete submissions you have started will appear under WORK IN PROGRESS on your Dashboard. They also appear in your record list (MY RECORDS)*.

Review the company/branch office details. Click EDIT to view the office address and contact information; *[[if changes are needed, you must attach the Contact Change form linked in the instructions.]]*

Tell us whether you will maintain a trust account at this office. *[[If yes, you must attach Trust Account form linked above.]]*

**If required**, click ADD to attach Contact Change and/or Trust Account form(s). If not, scroll down to approval section.

Scroll down and select APPROVED or DENIED in the Approval section. *[[Your name and approval date will auto-populate.]]* Click "CONTINUE"

Review request details. Scroll down and read the Supervising Broker certification. Check certification box then click CONTINUE.

Your approval has been submitted; review Record Submission message. ***You are not the responsible broker of record until you receive notification from KREC that the request is complete.***
