SwipeSense Dashboard - Department vs. Unit

The following guide will help to provide a further understanding of the dashboard features in relation to the data collection for the following: department data and unit data.

Navigate to [https://admin.swipesense.com/](https://admin.swipesense.com/)

Select the "Hand Hygiene" Module.

This is the "NHFMC - 5th West Intermediate Care Unit" Dashboard Overview. The data that is shown on this page focuses on the team members associated with this specific department.

Select "ALL STAFF"

The "All Staff" tab shows the team members that are associated with this specific department and those that have collected data during the date range selected. You have the ability to select a specific team member's name to view their data including the patient room visited, the hygiene events that occurred upon entry/exit, the date/time of the visit, and how long the visit was. Please Note: The definition of "department" can be located by hovering your mouse over the question mark next to the word "department" (see below)

If you select "ALL UNITS"

You will have the ability to see compliance for the unit "FMC - 5 West" - you will notice that the UNIT compliance is different than the department compliance, which is due to the department compliance capturing a "controlled" group of team members vs. the UNIT compliance capturing data from any team member that entered/exited the collection of patient rooms

If you select "NHFMC - 5 West" you will see a UNIT overview page as well as a "Rooms" Tab that allows you to see the rooms associated with this unit

Please note: The definition of a UNIT can be found by hovering your mouse over the question mark located next to the word "unit" and underneath the date range

The "rooms" tab will showcase the compliance score of each room associated with the unit. This compliance score is captured from any team members who entered/exited the patient room. You have the ability to select a specific patient room to see the data collected.

After selecting a specific room(5128), you will see the name/role of the team members who visited this room, the type of hygiene event that they had upon entry/exit (complaint vs. non-compliant), the day/time of their visit and the duration of their visit.

The "All Staff" tab shows the team members that are associated to this specific department and those that have collected data during the date range selected.
