Sync new files from Assembly (formerly Copilot) to Dropbox folders based on companies

This automation depends on having an existing folder in Dropbox with the exact name of a company in Assembly (formerly Copilot).

As of September 30, 2025, we’ve rebranded to Assembly. The steps below remain the same. When searching in Make, look for Assembly (formerly Copilot) and this logo.

Create a new scenario in Make

Click "Copilot"

Click "Watch Created Files"

Click "Add" or "Create a webhook"

Label the webhook in Make

Click "Save"

Click "Copy address to clipboard"

In a new tab go to the Copilot Dashboard

Click "Settings"

Click "API"

Click "New webhook"

Label the webhook and paste the webhook URL from Make into the Endpoint URL field

Click the "Events to send" field.

Click "file.created"

Click "Update"

Click "Confirm"

Back in Make, click "OK" to finish setting up the trigger

Add a new module and select “Copilot”

Click "Download a File"

Click here.

Click "ID"

Click here.

Click "Name"

Click here.

Click "OK"

Add a new module and select “Copilot”

Click "Retrieve a File Channel"

Click here.

Click "ID"

Click "OK"

Add a new module and select “Copilot”

Click "Retrieve a Company"
