Syncing a Project to a Data Collector in Siteworks

Before you begin ensure your data collector is connected to the internet and is added as device to your WorksManager account and project.

Starting on the Open Project screen tap the **X** in the upper right corner.

Tap on the **Hamburger Menu** in the upper left corner.

Tap on the **Data Management** tab.

Tap on **WorksManager Sync.**

Ensure the **Synchronize** drop down is set to **Project.** Tap on the Project dropdown menu to select the project you would like to sync.

Take note of the project you are trying to sync in WorksManager. You must select that project from the **Project** dropdown list.

Tap **ACCEPT** once you have the correct project selected. This will initiate the sync. If syncing a project for the first time it is not uncommon for this to take 5-10 minutes.

When the sync has been complete Siteworks will notify you. Tap **OK.**

Tap on the **Hamburger Menu.**

Tap **Project Setup**.

Tap **Change Project.**

Select the recently synced project from the **Project** dropdown list.

You will be looking for the name that matches the WorksManager project. Once selected you will be required to create new Work Order before opening the job and selecting a design. \*Note if no designs were published to the device prior to this sync you will have to perform a separate design sync once published.
A project should only be synced once per collector at the start of the job. If the project is synced again, you run the risk of over writing control data. Moving forward you will only sync designs and work orders.
