TEMPORARY Tech Hub 2.0: Eligibility Certification Process

Effective Aug. 8, 2025 a temporary process has been outlined by the state office to certify eligibility in the Tech Hub Portal. This is due in part to the Form 3 approval process for the Beginning of Season submission being under construction. Please follow the below steps to certify eligibility prior to competition.

Navigate to <https://3c2a.my.site.com/schoolportal/s/>

Click "Roster / Form 3" from the header or the tile.

Click the hyperlink for the sport to be certified for competition.

Click "Certify Student"

Alert! All the **Required Fields\*** need to be populated with a response. Please note there is not a specific rules engine to ensure the 3C2A bylaws are correctly applied. The Eligibility Specialist/Athletic Director needs to apply the legislation correctly for each student-athlete they certify for competition as outlined in Bylaw 1.

Click "Eligible" is the only **certification status** used for those student-athletes are are competing.

Tip! The "i" icon provides additional information for specific required fields.

**Previous Seasons of Competition Used\*** select a response.

**Enrolled in a minimum of 12 units?\*** select a response.

**Actively Enrolled in 6 units?\*** select a response.

**Meets 9 Unit Ed Plan Requirement\*** select a response.

*Note, N/A is available for cases in which a student-athlete has not triggered the legislation. For example, is not in their Second Season of Sport.*

**Passed 24 semester / 36 quarter units\*** select a response.

**2.0 Cumulative GPA from 1st competition\*** select a response.

**Meets 18/27 Ed Plan Unit requirement\*** select a response.

**Meets the 6-unit requirement?\*** select a response.

*Note, N/A is available for cases in which a student-athlete has not triggered the legislation. For example, they are not a transfer student-athlete.*

Click "Save"

Click the hyperlink under Roster to return to the prior page to certify more student-athletes.

Generate PDF Certified Roster/Form 3

Click on the column titles of "Certification Status" and "Full Name" to sort before printing Certified Roster/Form 3 to send to a Commissioner. To sort the Full Name in alpha order click on the title twice.

For Google Chrome web browsers click on the three dots (e.g., Google Chrome Control).

Click "Print"

Select the Destination of "Microsoft Print to PDF"

Ensure its printing all pages listing all student-athletes.

Click "Print"

Select a place to save the PDF Certified Roster/Form 3 on your computer. **Title the PDF - Sport Name Certified Roster and date**. For example, Women's Water Polo Certified Roster 8.4.25

Click "Save"

**Print the PDF for signatures of approval by the head coach and athletic director.** **Email the signed PDF** to your Commissioner.

Repeat this process any time you make roster changes. Once competition begins, student-athletes may only be added to the roster. They cannot be removed. Highlight those new additions to the roster by either adding a date by their name or using the Adobe highlight function.
