Tech Hub 2.0: Head Coach Approval or Removal of Student-Athletes for the Beginning of Season Submission

This guide is essential for Head Coaches navigating the Tech Hub portal for approvals and removals of student-athletes advancing onto the Certified Roster/Form 3 for the Beginning of Season Submission process. It provides step-by-step instructions on how to review, approve, or remove athletes from the Roster/Form 3 approval workflow process for the Beginning of Season Submission.

Alert! The **Head Coach will receive an email** every time an Eligibility Specialist (ES) and Athletic Director (AD) advances student-athlete(s) onto the Roster/Form 3.

Example of the email the Head Coach will receive alerting them to login to the Tech Hub portal. The email comes from [techhub@3c2asports.org](mailto:techhub@3c2asports.org)

The Head Coach will click on the **Tech Hub Portal** hyperlink to login.

From the Tech Hub homepage the Head Coach can click on either the "Pending Requests" tile or header.

Alert! Head Coaches do not have access to the online Form 1 information. This information is available for viewing via the Eligibility Specialist (ES) and Athletic Director (AD) accounts.

Click on the hyperlink pending approval.

Alert! From here all the student-athletes can be advanced onto the Roster/Form 3 by the Head Coach or they can select specific student-athletes not to be advanced.

Approving All Student-Athletes

From here all the student-athletes can be advanced onto the Roster/Form 3 by the Head Coach scrolling to the bottom of the page.

Click "Next" button

Select the radio button - **Yes - I confirm to advance all the student-athletes for Athletic Director approval.**

Click "Next" button

Upon completion of the request a Thank you note will appear on the screen.

Removing Student-Athletes from Roster/Form 3

To remove student-athlete, click on the **pencil icon** in the **Coach's Notes** column.

Type a note as to why the student-athlete should not be placed onto the Roster/Form 3 (e.g., cut, quit, etc.).

Review the note and scroll to the bottom of the page. Ensuring a note is typed for all of those student-athletes who should not be advanced for approval onto the Roster/Form 3.

Click on the "Save" button

Click the "Next" button.

Select the radio button - **Yes - I confirm** to advance all the student-athletes for Athletic Director approval **and those the Head Coach does NOT want advanced.**

Click the "Next" button.

Upon completion of the request a Thank you note will appear on the screen.

Tip! Head Coaches can request a copy of their **Certified Roster/Form 3** from their ES/AD. *A future enhancement is coming to the Head Coach accounts to have access to that information soon!*
