Terminate a Professional Loan

This guide provides a step-by-step process for terminating a professional loan following mutual agreement by the player and both clubs involved in the loan. These instructions clearly outline necessary actions, ensuring that users can efficiently manage professional loans on behalf of their clubs.

In [MyComet](https://comet.irishfa.com/mycomet), click on **My Club**

Select the **Players** tab

Select **Loan** from the Registration Type dropdown menu

Select which player who's loan you plan to terminate

Select the **Contract** tab

In the **Documents** section, click on the **Contract Termination** icon

Click on **Choose** and navigate to the **Cancellation of a Loan Agreement** file on your device

Click on the Contract status icon and select **SUBMIT TERMINATION**

Click "SUBMIT TERMINATION"

Click on the **tick** icon to change the registration status to **TERM. SUBMITTED**

The IrishFA will then review the documentation and will **TERMINATE** the player's Contract and Registration at their Loan Club, and reinstate the player's Registration with their parent Club if everything is in order. If not, the termination documentation will be returned to the club for resubmission.
