Terminate a Professional Registration

This guide provides a step-by-step process for terminating a professional registration following mutual agreement by the player and club. These instructions clearly outline necessary actions, ensuring that users can efficiently manage professional player registrations on behalf of their clubs.

In [MyComet](https://comet.irishfa.com/mycomet), click on **My Club**

Select the **Players** tab

Select which player who's registration you plan to terminate

Select the **Contract** tab

In the **Documents** section, click on the **Contract Termination** icon

Click on **Choose** and navigate to the mutual termination file on your device

Click on the current status icon and select **SUBMIT TERMINATION**

Click on the **tick** icon to change the registration status to **TERM. SUBMITTED**

The IrishFA will then review the documentation and will **TERMINATE** the Contract and Registration if everything is in order. If not, the termination documentation will be returned to the club for resubmission.
