The Grange School - Selecting GCSE Options on Applicaa Portal

Applicaa

Navigate to [https://thegrangeschool.applicaa.com/year9](https://thegrangeschool.applicaa.com/year9)

Enter your username (school email) and password, which will have been emailed to your school email address, then click 'login'

If this is your first time logging in you will need to click "Click here to read Applicaa's privacy policy" - then navigate back to this page and click 'accept'

To start your options process click "GCSE Options"

Click "Step 1: Welcome to your options portal"

Read the instructions on this page in full, and then proceed to make your choices by clicking 'save and next'.

Next, select your options subjects. You should select 5 subjects. You will study 3, and 2 are your reserve options. Be sure to follow any rules on the right hand side of the page, the system will not let you proceed until all rules have been met.

Once you are happy, click "Rank your preferences"

On the next page you should rank your choices, by clicking and dragging the dots to the left of the subject name. Your first subject must be History or Geography. You should then rank your other 4 subjects in order of preference, remembering the subjects ranked 4 and 5 are your reserve options.

Click "Submit your choices"

You are now done! You can click home to go back to the first page. You can login again and change your options if needed, up until **Monday 16th March.** Remember, choosing a subject does not guarantee you will study it, but we will always do our best to accommodate your choices or reserve options, depending on timetabling and demand.

To log out click the person in the top right hand corner, and then click log out.
