Transit Times - UPS

Visit [UPS.com](https://UPS.com) to view ***general*** Transit Times on UPS.com. Have the ship to zip code available.

Click "Shipping".

Click "Calculate Shipping Cost"

Scroll down. Click "U.S. Ground Maps"

Enter zip code (either Kaplan's - 27023 or ship to zip code)

Click "Zoom in" if needed.

Use color codes to ESTIMATE transit days. Review coding per shipping ***to or from*** zip code used.

Track Shipment

Tip! Copying the tracking number and pasting into webpage will typically give you the option to track from the page.

Copy Tracking ID (from spreadsheet, tandata, or the tracking details in Track Order)

Visit ups.com.

Click in Tracking Number field.

Paste /Type tracking id.

Click "Track"

Note number of cartons identified. "1 of 2 Piece Shipment"

Note Delivery or transit status: "Tuesday, January 20 "

Note received by information.

Click Proof of Delivery to capture screen shot. (can send to customer)

Click "1 of 2 Piece Shipment" to view additional carton details in the shipment.

Scroll down to view. Click "1Z2145180377476844" / additional carton (note in this scenario, the same shipment had 2 cartons, each delivered at a different day/signed by)

For single cartons, use "track another package" field. Enter tracking id, click track.

Track up to 25 Cartons

To track up to 25 carton ids - on ups.com: click "Tracking"

Click "Track a Package"

Click "Tracking Numbers" field. Paste or type tracking numbers (1 number per row)

Click "Track"

Note various tracking details per carton. Page through results as needed.

Click "1 of 2 Piece Shipment"

Scroll down to view additional cartons in shipment. Click "1Z2145180377475863"

Click "Back to Results" to return to prior list of tracking numbers.

Select alternative/new reference.

View Transit and Shipping Details

To view package's transit and potential hiccups: scroll down and click "View All Shipping Details".

Shipment Progress may alert you to a zip code, suite number issue. Whether delivery attempt was made or if delayed.

Notify Status of Carton(s)
