Transferring a student out of district (including Out of State)

Search for the student you are attempting to transfer, once you identify the student make them your selection.

Select "School Enrollment"

Select "Transfer Out Of School"

Complete a brief description for the "Transfer Comment."

To ensure that withdrawals are not listed as 'Transfer Out Pending' use the current date as the Date of Transfer.

Select the "Exit Code" field in the dropdown and choose the field that best corresponds with the reason the student is exiting.

Tip! If you have questions about the students reason of transferring. Please refer to the SCDE Dropout Manual attached in the, "Student Withdrawal Scenarios Scribe Page." If you have further questions, please contact the Charter Institute PowerSchool and IT Department.
