Scheduling Appointments in myCAE

This brief tutorial demonstrates how students affiliated with the Center for Accessible Education can schedule appointments with their assigned Disability Specialist.

Log into your myCAE Student Portal at [https://blackburn.accessiblelearning.com/UCLA/.](https://blackburn.accessiblelearning.com/UCLA/dashboard/Default.aspx)

Select "Request An Appointment" under the Disability Specialist overview.

On the next page, indicate the timezone you would like to schedule the appointment in. This should be the timezone of the location where you plan to hold the meeting.

Select the appropriate person who you'd like to meet with under the "Who You Would Like to Meet" dropdown.

Select any appropriate communication access accommodations you may need during the meeting.

Select the modality of the meeting you would prefer under the "Type" dropdown.

In the "What Would You Like to Meet About" box, please write a short description of the purpose of your meeting and provide any important details about what you'd like to discuss with the selected CAE staff member.

Under the "Appointment Purposes" section, select the appropriate appointment purpose based on your goals for the meeting. If you need support understanding which option to choose, refer back to the email you received prompting you to schedule an appointment, or call the CAE front desk at (310) 825-1501.

Select "Search Availability"

Select the appropriate availability you want to schedule with the specialist.

Select "Schedule Appointment"
