Updating Salesforce Security Contact Information

Learn how to update your organization's designated security contact within Salesforce setup. This guide ensures your security team remains reachable for critical events by providing accurate name and phone information.

From the "Action Requested" box in Setup follow these instructions...

Click "Update Company Information"

Click "Edit"

In the "Security Contact Information" section, fill in the "\*Name" field with the person who should be the point of contact in your org for security issues.

Add that persons number to the "\*Phone" field.

Click "Save"

If you don't see the "Action Required" box, you can search for "Company Information" in the "Quick Find" box and verify the information is already there, or update it.
