Upload Video or Audio to Panopto (Blackboard Ultra)

Tip! Prior to uploading media to Panopto it helps to know where the video/audio is located and how it is labeled. Ensure you know the location of the files you would like to upload prior to beginning this process.

Navigate to your course (any will do, even a Sandbox) in Blackboard Ultra.

Click here.

Click "Content Market" to add Panopto to your course (optional), or to access Panopto.

If you would like to embed Panopto into your course for easier later access, ensure that you click on the "plus sign" in the lower right hand corner of the option labeled "Panopto Video."

Click "Panopto Video" to access your account.

You will note that within Blackboard Ultra, an automatically created folder loads as the default. It is for the course you are in. To access your "My Folder," you will need to click the drop-down folder and select "My Folder" from the options available.

Click "My Folder"

You can then select "Add folder" to name a folder if you do not already have one that fits for the video/s you would like to upload.

Type "Name [[Enter]]"

Click "Name" to enter the folder before uploading content to ensure it is uploaded in the correct area.

Click "Create"

Click "Create new sessions by uploading video or audio"

Tip! You will now be able to identify where the content is on your device and upload it to Panopto!
