Upload your Undergraduate Thesis to StFX Scholar _March 2025

Go to <https://stfx.scholaris.ca> and click "**Log In**"

**Click "StFX Login".** You will be prompted to login with your StFX Email and Password. This is the same information as what you use to access your StFX email.

If the option to pick a Microsoft account appears, click your StFX email account.

On the left navigation bar, Click **+ New**

Click **"Item"**

**Scroll down until you see "Undergraduate Theses (Digital)"**. Alternatively, search for "Theses" in the "Search for a collection" **Click on "Undergraduate Theses (Digital)"**

**Click "browse"** to upload your thesis. Please note this file must be in **PDF format.**

Choose the file that you want to upload. Ensure you saved your thesis as a **PDF** and named it **lastname_year_thesis** eg. Fuller_2025_thesis

In the "Author" box: **Enter your name.** Format should be "**last_name, first_name",** e.g. Vail, Margaret

In the "Thesis Advisor" box: **Enter your Thesis Supervisor's name**. Format should be "**last_name, first_name"**, e.g. Fuller, Kaitlin This is for your supervisor only, and not the entire committee. The committee can be acknowledged in a cover sheet or in your work.

Click "Degree Faculty" and **select from a drop down.** Click the appropriate Faculty that you received your degree from.

Click "Degree Discipline" and **select from the drop-down.** Click the appropriate discipline that you received your degree from. You can also start typing your discipline to filter the options in the list.

Click "Degree Level" and **select from the drop-down.** Click the appropriate level of your degree: eg. Undergraduate.

Click "Degree Name" and **select from the drop-down.** Click the appropriate name for your degree. You can also start typing your degree name to filter the options in the list.

**Type in the title** of your thesis in the Title box. Capitalize the first word and any proper nouns. Eg. Child development: an active learning approach

Enter the **year that you completed your thesis.** You can optionally add month and day.

Click the "Language" drop-down. **Select the language your thesis is written in.**

Click the "Subject Keywords" box. **Enter 3-5 keywords or phrases that describe the content of your thesis.** Press the "enter" key after every keyword or phrase to add another. **Capitalize the first letter** of each word. Eg. Climate Change,

In the "Abstract" box: **Type or copy/paste the abstract for your thesis.**

Read the StFX Thesis / Dissertation / Project Non-exclusive license.

**Check the box next to "I confirm the license above"**, to agree to the StFX Thesis/Dissertation/Project Non-exclusive license. You must agree to the license in order to submit your thesis to StFX Scholar.

**Click "Deposit"**. Optionally, you can save your thesis deposit and return to complete it later. It will not be reviewed by StFX Library Staff until you have clicked "Deposit".
