User-Initiated Enrollment (macOS) - User Experience

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for enrolling your Mac into the UCLA-wide Jamf Pro instance, through the enrollment invitation sent to you by your local IT team.

As part of an upgrade to our Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform, all Macs are being enrolled into a new UCLA-wide Jamf Pro instance. This guide outlines the steps required to enroll your Mac through an enrollment invitation sent by the local IT team, specific to your department: <https://dts.ucla.edu/customer-support/it-resources-ucla>

When a Jamf administrator for your department sends an **Enrollment Invitation** to you via email, it will come from: [jamfnotifications@it.ucla.edu](mailto:jamfnotifications@it.ucla.edu) Click on the provided link to continue.

The link will redirect you to <https://ucla.jamfcloud.com/>. Click "Continue" to proceed.

If prompted with a warning, asking if you would like to allow downloads from **ucla.jamfcloud.com**, click "Allow".

You can disregard the UCLA Single Sign-On screen.

On the **Profile Downloaded** prompt, click "OK".

Navigate to "System Settings…"

Click "Profile Downloaded"

If you are not seeing a "Profile Downloaded" option in System Settings, navigate to **General** > **Device Management**.

Double-click the **MDM Profile** listed.

Confirm that the profile pertains to [ucla.jamfcloud.com](https://ucla.jamfcloud.com) and click "Install..."

Click "Install"

Enter the **password** that you use to log into your Mac, and click "Enroll".

Wait for the profile to install.

Once the profile is installed, you should see a message indicating that the device is supervised and managed by UCLA.
