Getting FTP links from the ELITE portal

Go to "Files" on the ELITE portal

Use the filters to get the your desired data

(Optional) Show the "Data File Key" column

Export the table of files

Open the downloaded CSV in excel or editor of choice.

Copy cells / text with links to add to Cavatica.

Add Files to Cavatica Project

Navigate to your Cavatica project Home page for Cavatica: <https://cavatica.sbgenomics.com/>

Navigate to the "Files" tab

Click "Add files" on the right hand side

Click "FTP / HTTP" to add the files from Synapse

Paste the FTP links into this text box

Tip! Multiple links need to be separated by a new line. If uploading from a file, make sure only the links are in the file. The downloaded table from the ELITE portal contains extra columns. Delete those and the header before uploading the CSV.

Preview

Click "Auto-rename"

Click "Import"

That's it! The files will begin to appear in your Cavatica project. Refresh the page if you do not see the files appear automatically.
