Using BSP LUMI to Generate Assignment Ideas

Navigate to the BSP course in which you wish to add LUMI-generated assignment ideas.

Click into the Content area of BSP.

Navigate to the appropriate folder/module.

Click "Upload / Create"

Click "New Assignment"

Give the assignment a title.

Click "Generate Assignment Ideas."

Review the text in the information box. It clearly defines what is generated and indicates any limitations.

Select the number of ideas you wish to have LUMI generate. Choose between 3-5 ideas.

Optional: Select the desired Revised Bloom's Taxonomy level for the generated questions. Choose between: Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, and Create.

Select "Include all activities in the module" or choose "Select the activities you wish to include in your idea."

If you chose ""Select the activities you wish to include in your idea" option, choose the specific items you wish to have included in the idea generation.

Click "Generate."

Review the LUMI-generated assignment ideas. Select the preferred idea.

Click "Insert."

Follow the regular steps in creating an assignment in BSP. Then click Save and Close.
