Using JAM Canvas

In our example - we will start with familarizing our way around JAM CANVAS.

Step by step instructions are built right into JAM Canvas by clicking the Instructions button at the top, and choosing a guide.

Items are added to the canvas by using these buttons.

Since now JAM Canvas supports multiple screens, you may see a pink dotted line down the canvas. This is the boarder of where one screen ends and another begins.

You can focus on one screen at a time by using the screen focus tool at the bottom, to zoom to that specific screen.

You can always fine tune your zoom with the zoom control.

As items are added to the canvas, they will appear in the Layers pane. The further up an item is on the layers list, the further up it will be "stacked" on the canvas. For example, if you want "ice" in front of a Coca-Cola bottle - the "ice layer" should be higher than the "Coca-Cola layer".

To open an objects properties panel, tap the item on the Canvas.

The properties panel is how you edit the item you selected on the canvas.

All property panels have basic and advanced mode. If you want to move quickly, stick to basic. If you want custom control over everything, simply tap advanced and you can fully control all aspects of the item you selected.

You can add photos from the photo library by clicking the Photo / Video button.

This opens the media browser - you can see it in a bigger window by clicking Browse All Media.

You can browse and search here, and insert an image just by clicking it.

Open photos properties panel by tapping the photo.

The property panel opens with basic and advanced modes. Basic allows you to make quick tweaks, while advanced mode allows filters and other advanced options.

Most of the time you will be working from a pre-made canvas.

Just click and replace to work from a pre-made canvas!

Lets start by "Click and Replacing" the Photo!

Click "Change"

Select a new food Photo.

Done!

Now lets "Click and Replace" this price. First click the price.

And type your new price!

Now lets "Click and Replace" a category. First Click the Category.

And select the category you would like it to be instead from the properties panel!

Fine tune it with the grab handles for the categories.

You can also stretch any object on the canvas by clicking it, and using the grab handles.

When you are happy with your work, click the publish button.

Click "Publish"

Click "Mark Active & Publish"

The scene will then publish.

You will see a confirmation message when its complete.
