Using the New Admin Interface: Early Release [ENG]

The new admin interface is being released in phases. At this time, no action is required, and enabling the new interface is optional. This early release introduces a redesigned administrative experience that improves navigation, clarity, and access to key tools. It is being rolled out gradually to ensure stability while maintaining access to all existing functionality.

Note: This walkthrough is demonstrated using the HorseReg platform. Left navigation labels may vary slightly by sport-specific platform, but overall functionality remains the same.

Logging in works the same way as in the legacy interface. No changes have been made to login credentials or access permissions.

To enable the new interface, make sure you are in the dashboard view. The "Dashboard" is our platform's administrative experience, designed for sports organizations, club and team admins, and event organizers.

Select your account icon (your initials) in the top-right corner.

Select *Enable New Dashboard*.

To return to the legacy interface at any time, select your account icon and choose *Deactivate New Dashboard*. This allows you to explore the new interface at your own pace.

In this walkthrough, we’ll review the new top navigation menu and highlight the tabs available in this release, including the *Dashboard* (administrative homepage), *Quick Search*, *Event List*, and *Event Configuration*. Additional tabs will become available as the rollout continues.

Once the new dashboard is enabled, you can simplify your view by selecting the *collapse* icon in the top-left corner to switch the admin menu to icon-only mode.

Select the icon again to expand the admin menu at any time.

The top navigation menu includes an always-available search tool. This enhanced search bar displays profiles, registrations, and memberships in a clear, linear format and opens the *Quick Search* tab.

The top navigation menu allows administrators to switch between supported languages at any time.

Select *EN* to view the interface in English, or *FR* to view it in French.

Uplifter's Knowledge Base is also accessible from the top menu at any time.

This button takes you to the Uplifter Knowledge Base landing page, where you can use the search bar or browse the tables below to find answers to your questions.

Now that we’ve reviewed the top navigation menu, we’ll explore the *Dashboard* tab, which serves as the administrative homepage. The *Dashboard* displays membership data and trends based on the selected Financial Organization and Membership Organization. Refer to additional Knowledge Base articles to learn more about this tab.

This release also includes the new *Quick Search* tab, accessible from the top navigation search bar or the left navigation menu. Enter at least three letters to begin searching for profiles, registrations, and memberships. Refer to additional Knowledge Base articles to learn more about this tab.

The new *Events* tab directs administrators to the *Event List* table, which displays all events in a paginated view for efficient browsing and management.

From here, administrators can select the registration status button or the gear icon to access the configuration tools.

The configuration tools allow administrators to edit branding, messaging, and registration details.

Event configuration is available in both basic and advanced views. For step-by-step instructions on using the Event List table and Event Configuration tools, refer to the Knowledge Base.
