Verifying Phone Numbers During Sign-In

Verifying phone numbers during sign-in can ensure accuracy for your guest profiles, increase security and facilitate text message communication, which is possible through our Connect functionality.

Navigate to [https://dashboard.accushield.com/](https://dashboard.accushield.com/landing)

Click "Settings"

Click "Sign In Features"

Click "Phone Number Verification"

Click the box next to every type of visitor you want to verify phone numbers from. If a staff member verifies their phone number, it will get saved to their staff account in the Dashboard on the "Staff" page.

Click "Save" once you've made your changes.

For guests and providers, their verified phone numbers will be saved to their profiles, which you can view from the "Accounts" tab. Choose the visitor type you want to view from the dropdown.

Type the person's name or phone number in the search field and click "Apply"

You should see that person's profile pop-up.

Clicking on their name brings up their profile details, including Phone.

You can also view visitors and their associated details (including phone number) from the "Visitor Log / Ledger"

From a kiosk users perspective, next time your chosen visitor types signs-in, they will receive a verification code via text message, that they will need to input into the kiosk. During subsequent sign-ins, that user will not be asked to verify their number again, if it was authenticated on the previous visit.
