View Template Transaction Status

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to view the status of a Smart HR Template transaction after it has completed local approval at the location and has moved to the UCPath WFA Production processing queue using the Transaction Status page in UCPath.

Navigate to UCPath [https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu](https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu/home)

On the **Workforce Administration** homepage, click the **HR Tasks** tile.

On the left navigation pane, expand the **Smart HR Templates** folder.

Select the **Smart HR Transaction Status** menu option.

Search Criteria

The search drop-down menus default to All.

Choose the appropriate option from the **HR Review Status** drop-down menu or leave the **All** default option. - **All:** Displays all submitted template transactions - **Cancelled:** Displays template transactions that have been cancelled by UCPath Center WFA Production - **My Transactions:** Displays the template transactions that you have submitted - **Pending:** Displays template transactions that have completed local approval and are pending processing by UCPath Center WFA Production - **Processed:** Displays completed template transactions

Choose the appropriate option from the **Transaction Type** drop-down menu or leave the **All** default option.

Choose the appropriate option from the **Transaction Status** drop-down menu or leave the **All** default option. - **All:** Displays all transactions - **Cancel:** Transaction was cancelled by WFA Production - **Denied:** Transaction was denied by location Approver - **Hired/Added:** Hire, Rehire, or Concurrent Hire template was processed by WFA Production - **Requested:** Transaction was submitted but not yet processed by WFA Production

For best search results, use the **Empl ID** field.

If Empl ID is unknown, the employee's name can be used.

Adjust the date range to include the effective date of the template, as needed. **NOTE:** The **Start Date From** field defaults to 10 days prior to the current date, and the **To** field defaults to 10 days past the current date.

Click the **Refresh** button to return results.

Result Fields

The **Template** column identifies the template type that was initiated.

The **Effective Date** identifies the effective date entered on the transaction, meaning the date that the action takes effect.

The **Transaction Status** column indicates whether or not the transaction has completed processing with WFA Production. Refer to the search criteria section for definitions of the status types.

The **Person ID** column identifies the employee associated with the transaction, and the **Empl Record** column indicates the job record to which the transaction applies. If the employee is a new hire, the **Person ID** column will display **NEW** for transactions that are pending or cancelled.

The **Action** column indicates the transaction type.

The **First Name** and **Last Name** columns display the employee's name.

Cancelled & Denied Transactions

If a template transaction is cancelled by UCPath Center WFA Production, you can click the **View Comments** hyperlink and review the reason. **NOTE:** As a reminder, comments for a template transaction that was denied by a location Approver are located on the *SS Smart HR Transactions* page. For cancelled transactions, review the comments entered by UCPath Center WFA Production. Click the **Return** button to return to the search results.

The **Clone** button appears when: - A template transaction was denied by a local Approver - A template transaction was cancelled by UCPath Center WFA Production

If needed, use the **Clone** button to create a new template transaction. Details from the original transaction carry over to the clone to simplify data corrections. Once you resubmit the transaction, the AWE process starts over.
