Viewing content and user access reports

Keep track of student progression in a unit by viewing the number of visits and time spent on a specific topic.

Access the reports

Navigate to your unit space, and click on **Content** from the main menu

For TAFE teaching spaces, **Content** is the second option on the main menu

Accessing the report will depend on the template applied — either via **Course Options**, or the Table of Contents **More Actions** context menu.

For units with the new template, click the **Course Options** cog.

Then select "View Reports" from the dropdown list.

For all other spaces, go to **Table of Contents** on the left side menu

Click **More Actions** button under Table of Contents

Then select **View Reports**

Content Reports

Content-specific reports show the total number of students or learners who have viewed specific content. Each row displays - number of students who can view the content (**Available to**), - number of students have viewed (**Users Visited)**, - and the **Average Time Spent** viewing the content.

To drill further into the report, click on a **User Visited** number next to a content

You will be taken to a list of users and their viewing statistics. Select **Go Back** to return to the previous view.

User Report

From the content report, switch to the **Users** tab. This provides you with an overview of students in the space, the content topics available for them to view, and the number of visits.

To drill down to an individual report, search or locate a student, then click on **their name**.

This takes you into their personalised statistics report for the entire unit's content. The report includes the student's **number of visits**, **average time spent** and **time of the last visit** for each topic or section in the unit.

Select **Go Back** to return to the previous view.

SCORM Reports

To view completion reports for SCORM objects or Articulate learning modules, click **SCORM Reports** from the top list

Locate and click on the module title to access the reports

This takes you into the module completion report. The report includes the student's **progress**, **score** (if applicable), **attempts**, **time spent** (in seconds) and **last accessed**.
