Navigate to your WorkGenius account.

Click "Timesheet" *\*If you do not see the "+Timesheet" button at the top right, scroll down on your page, as the boxes may shift due to the user's screen resolution.*

Indicate the assignment you are logging time for by clicking into the appropriate engagement under the "Engagement" area. Most individuals have only one assignment at a time. In that case, the active assignment will be set by default, and no selection is needed.
Hourly Rate Tracking

Use the “Period” section to choose the week from the drop-down you want to log time for. Click "+Shift" to add time to that date.

Enter your work start and end times for the day. Enter optional lunch break times and notes, if applicable. Click "Add Shift" to log the shift for the day. Select the 3 dots next to "Add Shift" to apply the times to the entire week or month. \*Keep in mind, you will not be able to add hours to future dates.

\[Optional\] Add expenses by selecting the “Expenses” tab.

Click "+ Expense" to add an expense to the timesheet.

Enter the expense "Title", "Amount", and select "Submit".

Additional expenses can be included by selecting "+".

\[Optional\] Click into the "Additional" tab to add a description to the timesheet or to attach a file.
Deliverable Tracking

Use the “Period” section to choose the week from the drop-down you want to log a deliverable for.

Enter the deliverable amount under "Amount" and enter a description under "Description". \[Optional\] Files can be added to the timecard by selecting "+File".

\[Optional\] Add expenses by selecting the “Expenses” tab.

Click "+ Expense" to add an expense to the timesheet.

Enter the expense "Title", "Amount", and select "Submit".
Submitting & Withdrawing Timesheets

Select “Save Draft” to save progress. To submit a full week’s worth of time/deliverables, select “Submit for Approval”. Do not select “Submit for Approval” if you need to add more time/deliverables for the week. Multiple timecards cannot be submitted for the same calendar week (1 timecard per week). Once “Submit for Approval” has been selected, your request will be submitted to the client for approval/payment, and you will not be able to add additional time/deliverables for that week once approved by the client.

To access saved timesheets to add time, make edits, or withdraw a submitted but not yet approved timesheet, select "Engagements & Shifts" from the left sidebar and then click into your assignment from the list.

Locate the timecard from the "Payment requests" area.

To withdraw a timecard that has been submitted to the client but not approved, select "Withdrawal".

The timecard will return to a draft state where edits can be made by clicking "+Shift" to make the necessary adjustments on each day/deliverable. This is also the way a timecard saves when selecting "Save draft".

Unsubmitted timesheets can be deleted by selecting "I want to delete this payment request".
