**Proceed the candidate**- If you decide to move forward with the candidate, click on the green **Proceed** button. The Pre-Adverse Action letter will not be sent to the candidate.
Send Pre-Adverse Action Notice if you decide not to proceed with hiring the candidate. Click on the red Pre-Adverse Action button and then select the violation(s). When a candidate is in adverse action, you will receive an email with that notification as well as the candidate. When you click on the “send notice” the candidate receives an email letting them know why you are not moving forward with them. They have a dispute period where they are sitting in that pre-adverse action stage and once that dispute period ends which is set automatically defaulted at 7 days, they will then go into final adverse action status which means this is cleared out and they didn’t dispute it. That will reflect back into Avionte and the candidate and you will receive an email as well.
