To follow this guide you will need: An Azure account with permission to create new resources

Navigate to [https://portal.azure.com/](https://portal.azure.com/) and log in

Select a resource group to house your app

Type "Function app" and select this resource from the drop-down list

Review terms and create the reseource

Click the "Function App name" field and enter something memorable Click on the "Code" checkbox Click "Select a runtime stack", select "Powershell Core Click and select the most recent "Runtime Stack Version"

Click "Next : Hosting >"

Click "Next : Monitoring >"

Create new, or select existing application insights

Select an existing, or create a new storage account Select a Windows opperating system

Select "Serverless" consumption, and click "Next"

Click "Next : Tags > Next : Review + create >"
