💡 Browser Performance Tip

To ensure the best experience when using Videosign, it’s good practice to clear your browser cache periodically.

Over time, stored data can affect how web-based platforms perform. Clearing your cache helps keep your browser running smoothly and can prevent audio, video, or loading issues during meetings.

You can find step-by-step instructions for your browser below.

3. Internet Connection

A stable internet connection is essential for smooth video meetings and signing sessions. If your connection is weak or unstable, you may experience delays, video interruptions, or difficulty uploading documents.

We recommend:

  • Ensuring you are somewhere with a strong Wi-Fi signal.

  • Closing unnecessary applications or browser tabs to improve performance.

4. Camera and Microphone Access

To use Videosign for meetings and signing, you'll need to allow permission for the site to access your device's camera and microphone. Usually you will only need to do this once, the first time you use Videosign.

The guide below will show you how to allow access to your camera and microphone.

Allow Access to Camera and Microphone

Having trouble seeing or hearing participants in your Videosign meeting?

This is usually caused by browser permissions not being enabled for your camera or microphone. Please make sure you have allowed access when prompted.

If the issue continues, clearing your browser cache can often resolve it.

5. Video Recording & Signing Requirements

Video recording has a 60-minute limit per session to keep file sizes manageable for low-bandwidth networks. If a meeting exceeds 60 minutes, a new recording starts automatically in the background, with no disruption to the session.

All signatures are automatically recorded. This cannot be disabled.

To ensure a complete audit trail, webcams must be switched on for digital signing.

You may allow signers to complete signatures without their webcam if preferred. In this case, an audit trail will still be produced, but won't include an image capture of the signee.
